Pajamas Media has sent Joe The Plumber (JTP) to Israel to give the regular American point of view concerning the Israel-Gaza conflict. Bob Owens of Pajamas Media says all the fuss mainstream media is making about JTP’s assignment is due to fear:

I wonder will there really be a real and friendly relationship with China, the newest superpower? Say what you want, but the ol’ “we can just bomb them into submission if they get outta hand” doesn’t appy to China. Not by a long shot.
Complexity is the name of this game. And it’s not getting any easier.

I for one would be pleased to see Bolton go to the UN breathing fire, a sword in one hand and a gun in the other. Diplomacy is not always about being nice. Sometimes it is, sometimes it’s the exact opposite. Ultimately, it’s about getting what you want. In the case of the UN, we need reform of that badly corrupt den of oppressors, and it’s time that we had someone who told the bald truth to them.
