Build those border fences!

I support building border fences/walls/moats to secure our southern border with one big yet beautiful change:

We build restaurants, malls, and entertainment venues into the fence/wall/moat at strategic points!

Just think about it… We can get paid, secure the borders, and share our wonderful American-ness with would-be illegals. Once our lovely neighbors down south get a dose of cheap goods and entertainment (no red light districts) at the border, they won’t have any reason to come here. They’ll be too busy luggin’ around cheap, globally made goods and have club hangovers. Better yet, lets just go about 30 miles inside our border states and make that area a seperate cheap goods and entertainment state called Americanaland. Americanaland will provide so much stuff and show at ridiculously low prices that it’ll turn those hard-drivin’ “border jumpers” with meager Mexican wages into hardcore consumers and club elite. Take that Vicente Fox!

See, that’s why America needs a dictator like me. I got it all figured out! Instead of Disneyworld and Disneyland we’ll have the Disneywaystation with a U-turn back to Mexico! Viva la Americanaland!

Now that is a very good idea T Steel. You should patent it before Haliburton, McDonalds and my husband steal it from you;) hahahahhaaha Have you been to the border before out of Chula Vista to Tijuana? If not, it really is a place of commerce. At the border, there is always a backlog of motorists because they have to get paperwork verified or get taken to secondary inspections etc. So when we came back a coupla months ago, we waited in the car for three hours at the border! During that time, almost every Mexican in Baja tried to sell us something. Whether it was mangos and pineapple in a cup, or arts and crafts or tequila or anything else. They even have runners who come up to the car and ask if you “need” anything. They get it for you for a negotiable price and then say “God bless you man” and move on to the next hustle. They work as hard as James Brown and it would be interesting to see that develop further. Perhaps a cohesive effort to do that could assist the border economy because it is pretty yucky…Have a nice weekend!
