A classic and then some!

During 36th Annual Tony Awards back in 1982, a classic performance was seen by people in attendance yet missed by a substantial number of people on television (who watches the Tony Awards?). The performance was turned in by Jennifer Holiday. I heard about it when I was young but never seen it. Here it is. Eight and a half minutes of emotion, spirit, and great singing. Gotta watch them Texas girls! And for those who watched the Sci-Fi network series Sliders will see the only cast member that stayed on the show from beginning to end: Cleavant Derricks (aka Rembrandt). I think I’m going to cry…

    You outdid yourself with this one. I don’t know where you got this footage but man oh man it is classic! I don’t even like that particular genre of music but she put it down!!! Well posted T Steel, well posted;)
