Just debating to no end…

Why do some people spend large amounts of time criticizing the opinions of other people when it comes to movies? I emphasize large amounts of time. A discussion here or there is fine. But have you gone to some of these Internet movie forums and see the EXTREMELY long threads about a movie such as Undercover Brother (shown in 2002)? It’s kind of disturbing how crazy people get when someone has a different opinion about a movie. Our brains don’t orbit the same sun many times so opinion will be varied. I really get a laugh out of reading a thread where multiple people, who like the same movie, argue about the reasons why they like the same movie. Uh… YOU ALL LIKE THE MOVIE SO WHY ARGUE ABOUT WHO’S “LIKE” IS MORE CREDIBLE?!?!

Sometimes diversity of opinion leads to the convoluted and insane… Yet why am I complaining since I find it so entertaining? Maybe I’m becoming convoluted and insane. ;-)
