No more Hurricane Katrina blame talk…

That’s right boilyz and grillz, I’m done. I don’t want to talk about federal, state, and local government actions. I’m through with all the blame at this time. I had my rant, found facts, talked about this on other blogs, etc. Right now, it’s all about the solution talk. Yeah, the boring stuff like:

1. Relocating the victims into semi-permanent/permanent residences.
2. Getting them addresses so they can receive mail.
3. Getting them phone service.
4. Finding ways to employ the 1 million+ left jobless.
5. Getting their mental and physical health back to normal.

All this Bush fault, Nagin fault, Blanco fault, FEMA fault, incompetent voter talk, partisan cool points, etc, is for the masters of flight. As I said before and will say it again, this has been an American Failure. And that means we all took the sure shot to the ass for this one. SOOOOO… Time for fix’er, up’er talk. And since I own this piece of bling-bling blog real estate, that’s all I’m going to allow in the comments (when I post about solutions). Sho’ nuff!

I have a question more than a comment. How can we contact or notify businesses that need to relocate and get there employees working that we have numerous empty facilites and housing available in a 3 county Area in rural Illinois. I have tried to notify news agencys and Fema but can’t get anyone to respond. Is there a agency or group incharge of that part of the recovery. We want to make our facilities available to get people working.

That’s a very good question Rich. I’m at a loss myself on that one. maybe T-Steel can find some info.

One of the things that Cobb noted in his response to me the other day was this:

Yeah, all the partisan bickering over this has just made me sick to my stomach. I have stepped into about three threads over at ISOU over the blame game that has been going on. In my opinion, no one gets to escape the blame and fighting over who has the most blame is ridiculous. What is important right now is helping these people. Later, we will deal with all the mistakes and make sure they never happen again.
